Candle Care

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CANDLE

TRIM THE WICK

Keep the wick always trimmed to 1/4” - trim before use for best practice.

LET THE WAX POOL

Each time you light your candle, let the candle burn until the wax melts across the entire surface area - this will avoid tunneling.

CHECK THE TIME

Burn your candle for up to a maximum of four hours at a time.

STORAGE

Keep your candles in a cool + dry location and avoid sunbeams.

CANDLE SAFETY

  • Keep children and animals away from candles, especially while lit or when the wax is warm. Please note, solidified candles can be heavy or breakable and should still be monitored or stored away safely when cooled and not in use.
  • Always burn your candle on a stable and heat-resistant surface, avoid drafts or flammable materials, keep away from children and pets, and never leave your candle unattended.
  • Trim wick appropriately to avoid uneven burns and to maintain an appropriate flame height.
  • Do not move a candle while lit or when the wax is liquified.
  • Avoid touching the sides of a candle while lit or warm.
  • Do not dip fingers or foreign objects into melted wax.
  • Do not burn candles for extended periods of time. Optimal burn times will have a cooling period between burns.
  • Do not burn candles after 1/4" - 1/2" of wax remains.
